About Us

About MetOC

Metropolitan Orienteering Club was founded in December 2014 in Hong Kong by a group of young orienteers (Raphael Mak, KS Lau, Dickin Kwong, Chun Kit Chan, Alicia Lam). MetOC held the first major event in September 2015 on Hong Kong Island. Since then, the club has started a number of new events, including Metvigator, Eliminator and Sprint Duet, and newly drawn maps of areas covering Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories

Aims of MetOC:

  • Assist to promote orienteering in Hong Kong
  • Improve the level of orienteering competition in Hong Kong
  • Provide a platform for exchanging orienteering technique and knowledge exchange
